When the name Aveda is mentioned, three things automatically come to mind: deliciously scented products, killer hair cuts and a friendly staff. It is because of the countless positive experiences that we have had with Aveda over the years that we have decided to proudly support their search for four students worthy of a full scholarship through this years Born To Style contest.

Think you have what it takes? Entry is simple. Submit a video that explains why you are born to style and why you’ve got the talent, passion and determination it takes to develop your hairstyling skills with the Aveda Institute Canada.

Then, use your social networks to get friends, family and followers to vote for your video. The entry with the most votes will automatically score a spot in the final Hair Showdown!

Once the contest is closed, four stylists from each city (Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg) will be chosen to participate in a live head-to-head competition and runway show where they will put together two of their best hair looks. A panel of experts will then choose the final winner from each city to win a full scholarship!
