This mixed-media show features YouTube screen-grabs of fireworks re-imagined through the mundane blue ink of grocery lists, diaries and exams. The sisters’ meditative process creates a vital and reflective series of large-scale works expressing a unique sense of pop spirituality. Explosions o!f light from beneath dark expansive spaces reveal fire and magic: spectacles turning to dust, stroke by stroke, boom by boom.
